All warfare is based on deception and has as its ultimate purpose hatred and death of the human soul. This is why, in spiritual warfare, you should never trust your thoughts. Did you ever see someone who erred? They believed their thoughts.
After that, if there’s no repentance and spiritual guidance, the person is beset with despair which pierces them to their innermost core. It’s their spiritual death.
