There’s nothing more powerful than the Church. Stop fighting it, or else it’ll prove too powerful for you. Don’t wage war against heaven. Fight a man and you win or lose. But if you fight the Church, you can’t win. Because God’s all-powerful. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than Him?
How many tyrants have wished to get the better of the Church yet haven’t succeeded? Where are her oppressors? Silence and oblivion have come upon them. And where’s the Church? It’s more radiant than the sun.
Their deeds are no more; those of the Church are immortal.
