If you’re proud of your natural gifts, by which I mean cleverness, the ability to learn, skill in reading, clear pronunciation, quick understanding and any gift you’ve received without effort, you’ll never obtain the blessings from above, because if you’re unfaithful in small ways, you’re also going to be unfaithful and vainglorious in larger ones.
To succeed in life, we must first seek humility in our desires.
