If we can put up with the lack of the material objects and our hearts aren’t enslaved to them, then God will grant them to us a hundred times over. If, in His divine wisdom, He doesn’t fulfill our worldly desires, it’s for the benefit of our souls.
Often God doesn’t grant material requests straight away because within our prayers there is the danger that we’ll sacrifice our spiritual health for the sake of material concerns.
Come what may, we must always be thankful for what God gives us.
