The main purpose of the Divine Liturgy

The main purpose of the Divine Liturgy is the reception of communion by the faithful, even if only by those few who are prepared. Almost all the prayers read by the priest are for those who will receive the Holy Eucharist. That’s why at least one should receive holy communion at the Liturgy.
