Holy Communion is the central mystery in the life of the Church.
Unfortunately, we often disregard this ultimate mystery of unity with God, and infrequently choose to receive this great gift, deploying a variety of excuses and justifications.
This discrepancy is confirmation of our separation from the centre of the church which is Christ.
Instead of trying to meet Christ, Who is constantly waiting to grant us life, we strangely prefer to continue crucifying Him daily through our sins.
This is where we encounter the of reality our distorted human nature.
