Blessed is he who mortifies his will to the very end and who leaves the care of himself to his elder in the name of the Lord. He will be placed at the right hand of Ηim Who was Crucified. People who refuse to accept criticism, fair or not, renounce their own salvation, while those who accept it, as hard as it may be, will soon have their sins forgiven.
A monk prepares himself for a life of struggle, pain and toil in the name of Love in Jesus Christ. He goes to his tonsure knowing full well that he is embracing the life of the cross through which he will discover the endless joy of Life in Him Who was Crucified.
