Having children is a matter of nature; but raising them and educating them in the virtues is a matter of mind and will. I am speaking of educating children’s hearts in virtue and piety—a sacred duty which cannot be transgressed. That’s why we must offer them to the Lord.

Ca parinte “cu vechime” imi dau seama cat este de greu sa stii cat sa certi cat sa ierti. Cat sa iubesti cat sa pedepsesti. Cred ca nu poti avea discernamantul necesar daca nu ai fi indrumat la randul tau de duhovnic.
Din pacate, noi generatia veche, nu putem/sau nu vrem (Dumnezeu stie) sa intelegem ca tinerii acestia, nu pot pur si simplu purta povara pedepselor pe care noi insine le-am purtat in copilarie. De aceea daca am dobandi nobletea aceea duhovniceasca…
