Do not judge. You don’t know from what storm the other comes – an amazing photo journal

Do not judge. You don’t know from what storm the other person has come. You don’t know how great his pain is. You don’t know the extent of his repentance. Sometimes small deeds are greater before of God than great words, because in the deeds there is sacrifice involved.
In the photos a monk faced a fierce blizzard in order to gather lemons for the brotherhood. The lemons were in danger freezing and the brother saved them.

FOARTE FRUMOASA POSTARE!

Mulțumim! 🙂

Suffering causes the view to change and the hearing to pick up important lessons that we would otherwise be ignorant of.
Ioan Toma
That’s why God allows us to suffer. He tries first to teach us in other ways but nobody cares. That’s why we must be grateful in pain. I know that it is very hard but this is the way to do.
Tia Kia
The Bible does say be thankful in all things and it’s especially valuable in storms when the flesh is fighting it because it’s then that we’re denying flesh…but this only one of the lessons to learn….David said it is good that I have been afflicted so that I might learn thy statutes …which is very important because Jesus commanded… learn of me for I am meek and lowly. Learning about him is valuable because in John 17:3 Jesus said this is eternal life that they might know thee …so the key into heaven or I should say one of them is knowing Jesus Christ himself and according to the word of God and David the king it is to know the King of Kings himself. Holy spirit is the one who reveals him to us so it’s important to have a relationship with Him as well.
Ioan Toma
There are a lot of lessons to learn… 🙂 …and not only from the Bible. 🙂 The Holy Trinity from which One Person took flesh and became man – as you know – spoke and is speaking to us through various ways – some of them which were caught in books. Of course Holy Bible is the most important collection of such books but is not the only one. Besides that we must aim, with the help of Church, as you noted, to have a direct (but not egoist) relation with God.
Tia Kia
While you are entitled to your opinion I know that I don’t have an egoist relationship with God and I don’t appreciate anyone attacking or labeling of my relationship with God. Furthermore if the Bible is read thoroughly one will find that the Bible itself does not recommend that any other book be involved in training or teaching. The Bible is very strict about that.

Dear Brother in Christ,
Of course your ideas and thoughts in your comments are appreciated a lot, and answers to them only present other details about the religion.
The answers for the religion, like in the church, should serve to anyone. This is the aim of the answers here in order to help as much as possible other people who maybe know a little about the religion.
Your comments as a faithful one to God and answers mean that everyone faithful in the world are helping to make other disciples, like Christ asked at Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” or at Luke 12:12 “for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say”. Please don’t take any word personal because we value you a lot… Your words for our Almighty God and your relationship with God dear friend are a very good example to all of us.
May you have Joyful time and all Blessings by God always our dear Brother in Christ!
Tia Kia
Amen brother. God bless you too and thank you for so beautifully clarifying. You took time and detail and I appreciate that as well.

??? “The Bible” does not exist as a “book”. The Bible = τα βιβλία (ta biblia = the books) is a …how to say… gathering(?) collection(?) which had in its composition different writings from different authors. This composition fluctuated over time and stabilized at the 1st Ecumenical Council at Niceea in the 4th century. Mind you, these books were written enough years after Christ’s ascension and are a fruit of tradition. St. Luke notes clearly this thing at the beginning of his gospel, also St. Paul says to keep what is written and what is said through (his) homilies. Beware, Jesus did not write anything. Why? Because He couldn’t? No, but because to teach us that experience in God is everything. We must not be the slaves of a book but of a God. Of course, we respect the writings which draw us closer to God – all the writings – but we cannot limit at a single corpus. Besides that at the very 1st Ecumenical Council, a writing was the base for the Truth (“About en-fleshing of Word God” – Περί της ενσαρκώσεως του Θεού Λόγου – by St. Athanasius the Great).

Thanks a lot for these information which explain that God is continuously present in our lives, and we learn from the Bible, but also from Saints of all time, their respective Miracles, etc. As an example, I remember that we learned in this website the meaning of the first Beatitude “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven” (Matthew 5:3). Holy Saints had revelations from God that “poor in spirit” means “humbleness” or this spiritual lesson could be read at https://asceticexperience.com/2016/10/means-poor-spirit-photo-journal-liturgy-chapel-paramythia/ God bless you!

…also, I didn’t attacked your relationship with God. On contrary, I approved what you said. Sorry for not being very clear.

Happy in the Holy Mountain the Feast of Theophany whereby through the Baptism of Christ by the Holy Forerunner John the Baptist, the Most Holy Trinity has been revealed to the world!
The Miracle of the Holy Water, which do not spoil with the passage of time for one year, will strengthen even more the Powers of Your Holy Souls!
With the Blessings of the Father and the Son, may the Holy Spirit abides with You Forever!
