Orthodoxy as the true path to the heavenly Jerusalem does not guarantee that the path will be “ok”. It guarantees that, if you follow the path, you will be “ok” and that you will safely reach the goal – if you follow faithfully the teachings of Orthodoxy.

I really miss the prayers, the spiritual conversations with my brothers in Christ. I miss breathing the air of Mount Athos, where our Most Holy Theotokos visits every day <3

Thank you for this wonderful ‘Gift of the Day’. Something very well timed as we approach the end of 2016 and we look forward to walking the path of 2017, with our Lord and his Mother always at our side.
I am looking forward very much to my first pilgrimage on the Holy Mountain, in 2017.
