The man who renounces the world from fear is like burning incense that begins with fragrance but ends in smoke. He who leaves the world through hope of reward is like a millstone that always moves in the same way. But he who withdraws from the world out of love for God has obtained fire at the very outset; and, like fire set to fuel, it soon kindles a larger fire.

    Cat de mult ma bucura aceasta postare.. as putea spune ca o asteptam..
    Ce poate face sotia, daca sotul hotaraste sa plece la manastire pentru o perioada mai lunga sau chiar de tot? Cum sa le explice copiilor ca tata a ales sa mearga la manastire desi ei inca au nevoie de ajutor? Cum poate mama sa pastreze acasa, ACASA…si sa reuseasca sa mentina acest sentiment in inima copiilor desi tatal a “dezertat”?
    Cum poti sa ii explici unui om care nu te asculta ca viata duhovniceasca, cu pravila, fapte bune, poti duce si in lume, nu doar in manastire? Ce atitudine trebuie sa aiba o sotie care se confrunta cu acestea?

      In orice caz nu o atitudine absolutistă. Duce la repulsie. Să încercăm să privim lucrurile și din punctul de vedere a celuilalt / celorlalți. Ajută foarte mult. Pe de altă parte, soțul are nevoie de acordul soției pentru a pleca la mănăstire (de tot). Dacă e „în vizită” atunci soția trebuie să fie puțintel mai înțelegătoare și să se roage pentru că, în mod normal, mănăstirea ar trebui să-l apropie pe om de Dumnezeu și deci de familie.

      Această apropiere, însă, nu înseamnă neapărat o apropiere fizică. Este un fapt vădit astăzi că în general cuplurile sunt cam departe unul de altul – este o boală a secolului – însă să nu dramatizăm și nici să ne panicăm pentru că nu duce la nimic bun.

        Multumesc frumos! Adevarul este ca omul (sot sau sotie) in general cand se apropie de Dumnezeu are tendinta de a face totul “dintr-o data”. De aici apar exagerarile.. Cunosc personal foarte multe culpuri care s-au despartit din pricina habotniciei. Soti care nu permit sotiei sa vina la Biserica doar pentru ca ea nu vrea sa isi puna batic. Si soti care cred ca familia ii impiedica in mantuirea lor..Ca mama, sotie, cred ca ne lipseste nobletea duhovniceasca. Nobletea are in interiorul ei si dragostea si jertfa si smerenia.. Avand acestea sotii devin vase comunicante..nu mai stie cine da mai mult sau cine da mai putin.. iertare daca gresesc.

          Așa este. Aceste probleme de obicei să rezolvă prin duhovnic și prin bună înțelegere întru răbdare. Habotnicia este război de la diavol pe baza încrederii în noi înșine. Aceasta poate să fie și în depășirea măsurii și în lipsă.
