God is allmighty and He could leave us for consolation anything from His mother. However, He choose to leave us her Holy Belt because the belt symbolizes the diligence, love and obedience because when we want to serve and help the others we take our belt. Also, belt symbolizes the chastity and purity.
In this photo we see the Holy Belt on its throne where it sits during the entire feast at Vatopaidi Monastery, Holy Mountain.
At the feast were present Metropolitan Konstantinos of Megara (which was the first between the two metropolitans) and Segios of Voronezh.
