Don’t wind the clock too tightly or the spring may break. This is the way it is with… children as well; when they are starting to feel forced, release some of the pressure.

In this photo a Vatopaidi monk adjusts the Church’s main clock. The clock was received in the Monastery in 1805 from Vienna, although it is believed to date much earlier, circa 1700-1750.
